Life can feel overwhelming at times, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. I help teens, college students, young adults, women, couples, and families move through life’s challenges with greater confidence, resilience, and hope. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, relationship struggles, life transitions, self-esteem, family conflict, emotional overwhelm, or simply feeling stuck, I provide a warm, supportive space where you can feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood.
TEENS/YOUNG ADULT:
I have a special passion for working with teens and young adults as they navigate the unique challenges of adolescence, college, and early adulthood. The teenage years can be exciting, overwhelming, and everything in between. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, OCD, body image concerns, disordered eating, self-esteem, perfectionism, academic pressure, friendships, family conflict, emotional regulation, or the transition from middle school to high school or from high school to college, you don’t have to face it alone. These seasons can also bring questions about identity, independence, dating, family relationships, academic and career decisions, and the uncertainty of what’s next. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where teens and young adults can be themselves while learning practical skills to manage emotions, communicate effectively, build confidence, develop healthy coping strategies, strengthen relationships, and thrive both socially and emotionally. I also value partnering with parents to foster healthy communication, strengthen family relationships, and support lasting growth both inside and outside of therapy.“
WOMEN’S ISSUES:
Every season of womanhood brings its own unique joys, challenges, and transitions. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, self-esteem, body image concerns, relationship challenges, career or life transitions, pregnancy, postpartum, fertility journeys, motherhood, identity shifts, or mid-life changes, you don’t have to face it alone. I provide a compassionate, supportive space where you can process life’s challenges, reconnect with yourself, and move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and resilience. My goal is to help you feel empowered, balanced, and equipped with practical tools to navigate each stage of life while prioritizing your emotional well-being.
My approach is person-centered, collaborative, and authentic. I believe the therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful growth, and I strive to create an environment where you feel safe enough to be yourself—without fear of judgment. While I lead with compassion and empathy, I’m also intentional about gently challenging unhelpful patterns, encouraging growth, and helping you move toward the life and relationships you want. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling supported, encouraged, and equipped with tools you can confidently use in everyday life.
As a DBT-trained therapist, I believe therapy should be both meaningful and practical. I integrate evidence-based strategies—including mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness—to help you better understand your emotions, manage stress, improve communication, strengthen relationships, and build lasting confidence. My goal isn’t just to help you feel better in the moment—it’s to equip you with lifelong skills that continue serving you well beyond the therapy room.
Outside the counseling office, I practice the same balance and self-care that I encourage my clients to prioritize.
