This play therapy group is designed to provide kids an outlet and teach them how to cope with their stressors.
Play therapy is a research-based, proven counseling method to help children cope with and overcome the problems they experience in the process of living their lives.
Developmentally, children can’t process things the way adults do. Play is how they work through their issues.
Play therapy has proven to be an effective therapeutic method for a variety of children’s problems including, but not limited to:

- Emotional Disturbances
- Family Violence

The therapy focused on collaborative play, self-expression, and emotional management,
Groups involve discussion, role-playing, and engaging in social activities such as conversation, playing games, and art.
The goal of our groups is to help your child resolve their social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties and to learn new behaviors and skills to cope with challenges.
Each group is based on a common goal such as Anxiety, Family Issues, Depression, or Emotional disturbances. Groups are formed based on the needs of the children and members are placed according to developmental and emotional needs.
