Hi, my name is Amy. I received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Georgia and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Mercer University, with a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have experience in school counseling as well as private practice as a psychotherapist, such as my current position here at MRC.

I understand each individual as a unique person with their own particular strengths and wisdom. My experience includes working with clients in many stages of life from 6 years old to adolescence, adulthood, including late adulthood.

I help individuals with depression, anxiety, loss and grief. I carefully facilitate a collaborative therapeutic and holistic approach in treatment, incorporating physical, mental, and spiritual health. I am also a 200-hour registered yoga teacher with 2.5 years of teaching at several local studios and a meditation teacher.

With a special interest in disordered eating, I also welcome women who are working through issues such as infertility,
prenatal and postpartum care, and perinatal loss. An additional area of experience and interest is chronic and severe mental illness.
